Twenty years of opening and running places where people gather around good wine. I travel to small European growers, build lasting relationships with them, and bring their wines to people in Miami who care about the story in the glass.
Hospitality is about people.
I am a hospitality and restaurant entrepreneur with over twenty years of experience operating venues in Italy and the United States. My career began in Rome in 2005, and since 2019 I have lived and worked in Miami.
Along the way I opened cafés, wine bars and restaurants, each built around the same idea: a great place to drink and eat is a place where culture, conversation and human connection can flourish.
Wine became the center of my work during my years in Rome, when I started traveling across Italy and Europe to meet growers who farm with care, often biodynamically or sustainably. Many of those relationships are more than a decade old, and they still guide every bottle I select today.

Cinecittà Café, Trevi e Tritone, Galleria
RomeAn all-day bar and restaurant in Italy's first shopping mall, and, inside the historic Galleria Alberto Sordi, a luxury coffee shop and a fine dining restaurant.

Porta di Roma illy caffè
RomeA partnership with illycaffè in one of Italy's most important shopping centers, part of fifteen years as an illycaffè licensee.

Café Montecitorio
RomeAn all-day café and wine bar in the center of Rome with a selection of wines from artisanal, biodynamic and sustainable producers. The years when the travels to growers began.

Pastificio Propaganda
MiamiA Sicilian-inspired restaurant with a wine list of over 120 Sicilian labels. In the same period, consultant for the launch of Santovino, a natural wine bar pop-up.

Sospiro Wine Bar & Cucina
Coral GablesA wine bar built around a program of more than 700 wines and a philosophy of authenticity, hospitality and storytelling. For three and a half years Sospiro welcomed the Coral Gables community and became a destination for wine lovers, and the relationships it created live on in FILO.

MiamiA private wine concierge that brings small European growers to a select circle in South Florida, with tastings, dinners and a journal of stories from the vineyards.
