Sospiro Wine Bar & Cucina
The wine bar founded by Fabrizio Gallina

Genuine wines, real people, great stories.
I founded Sospiro in 2022 and opened its doors in Coral Gables in 2023. The idea was simple: a neighborhood wine bar where every bottle had a face behind it, and where people came back because they felt at home.
The wine program grew to more than 700 labels, most of them from small, independent growers I had met over the years in Italy and across Europe: natural, biodynamic and sustainable producers, many of them never seen before in Miami. Next to the wines, an Italian kitchen with a Mediterranean soul, charcuterie, oysters, fresh pasta and risotto, and a garden where the evenings went on longer than planned.
For three and a half years Sospiro welcomed the Coral Gables community: first dates and anniversaries, tastings and wine flights, birthdays and even weddings. In 2024 The New York Times opened its Vows column with a wedding celebrated on our terrace.

The relationships Sospiro created, with the growers and with the people around the table, are the heart of what I do today with FILO.
The room, the wines, the table.

What they wrote about Sospiro.

“A romantic delight”, with natural wines from small, independent growers and a cozy backyard garden.
Named among the best wine bars in Miami, with wine flights, tastings and an Italian kitchen.
Italian sophistication in the neighborhood: a place where conversations feel elevated and ideas flow naturally.
The thread continues.
The growers, the wines and the community of Sospiro live on in FILO Bespoke Wine Concierge: wine programs, a private wine club and wine experiences in South Florida.
