Retrieving memories and narrations from his father, who had a Pastificio in Sicily, combining them with his professional experience, Fabrizio strengthens his belief, that a restaurant gives the opportunity to meet other people and forge new friendships.

And no wonder: sharing food is one of the simplest pleasures in life. While social media might provide a sense of community and a connection to others, when it comes to bridging cultures and building communities, is there really any substitute for sitting down and breaking bread with people?

And where better to share stories about culture, society, and tradition than around the dinner table?

The Concept

Today Fabrizio, working in the hospitality industry in prestigious and organized settings, feels the call of what he considers “origini emozionali”.

His father inherited a “Pastificio” in a small village near Palermo (Sicily) during the 80’s, and trasformed it in a restaurant, serving home made pasta and Sicilian traditional recipes.

Fabrizio aspires to propose a simple, traditional cuisine. Focusing the heart of the project on the ingredients of many passionate producers he has had the opportunity to discover and appreciate in his professional career. Combining the vibe of the past with modern experience and the progress that the food and wine movement has made in Italy and worldwide.

Together with his brother, Andrea, designed Pastificio Propaganda, one of a kind Trattoria where fine dining meets casual dining in a warm atmosphere.

The menu is an ode to the timeless Sicilian and Italian recipes (with an accent on the Roman tradition, as Fabrizio was born in Roma). Italians love to celebrate their cultural and culinary traditions!

Fabrizio is a fan of the holistic restaurant movement, that cares about its impact on the planet, about the value of community, heritage and tradition, about respecting ingredients. Sustainability is at the heart of a new global food culture, Pastificio Propaganda will use local and seasonal ingredients, serving food that is good for both people and the planet, with the aim to reduce as much as possible the impact of our work on the environment.
